MATFOR Maintenance Service (MMS) is an annual base service designed to help improve the quality and responsiveness of our technical support services. Through MMS, we are hoping to work with each user closely in order to increase customer satisfaction. We thank you for putting faith in our product and the opportunities to serve you. As you purchase MMS, you will be entitled to the following benefits during the coverage period:
- Free Upgrades - major releases that contains substantial improvement to the product denoted as a change in its version number.
- Free Updates - subsequent minor releases of products in the form of patches, updated documentation or additional utilities.
- Prioritized Email Support - services that carry a higher priority to add convenience and speed to users. (A Serial Number associated with the product is required for the service.)
- Free Newsletter Subscription - periodic online newsletter to make sure users stay up to date on the latest news and developments in AnCAD.
- Runtime License upon Request - license that allows the redistribution of MATFOR applications. (Limited to commercial license only.)

MMS is offered for both Academic and Commercial Editions. Official holders of MATFOR are granted one year free MMS upon purchase. The cost for extending the coverage period for each additional year is 20% of the product list price. How to upgrade to MATFOR 4?
You must be covered by a current MATFOR Maintenance Service agreement in order to receive product upgrades. The steps are:

Go to http://www.ancad.com/activation.php and use the serial number provided at the time of purchase to complete product activation. A confirmation email will be sent to you with user's information and new activation information. (Note: Each serial number allows you to activate MATFOR on two machines with respective host-ids.)

Use the new password given in the email to register MATFOR 4 in your computer.
- Windows users: Go to Start menu-> Programs-> MATFOR4-> Utilities-> Register MATFOR 4 in Fortran/C++ to start up the registration utility. Fill in the password blank then hit OK.
- Linux users: Go to /bin/reg_xxx to start up the registration utility. Fill in the password blank then hit OK.
