Definitions of MATFOR Licenses

Trial License
MATFOR Trial License is a 30-days license available for individuals' internal evaluation purposes. Licensees may not distribute all or any part of the product.

Commerical License
MATFOR Commerical License is node-locked to a machine's Host ID. The product will execute only on the system for which it is licensed by Host ID. Each purchas of the product will allow registration of two Host ID Licenses, limited to the same person. If either Host ID License is to be transferred or used by person(s) other than the purchaser, consent from AnCAD, Inc. must be received.

Academic License
MATFOR Academic License is a single license designed for using the product in an academic environment. The product will execute only on the system(s) that is licensed by Host ID. Each purchase of the product will allow registration of two Host ID Licenses, limited to the same person. If either Host ID License is to be transferred or used by person(s) other than the purchaser, consent from AnCAD, Inc. must be received.

Floating License
MATFOR floating license is designed for using MATFOR in a shared network environment. This license model consists of one or more license servers controlling the number of concurrent users running the licensed MATFOR on other computer(s) in the network. Each purchase of the prodcut will allow registration of one Host ID License. If the Host ID License is to be transferred or used by person(s) other than the purchaser, consent from AnCAD, Inc. must be received.

As to offer a cross-system/cross-platform environment, the machines on client sites can be a mix of Fortran or C++ compilers under Windows or Linux systems. MATFOR floating license comes in single, packs of 3 and packs of 5.

Classroom License
MATFOR classroom license is designed solely to support classroom teaching in an academic environment. Any project developed under classroom license may not be re-distributed to a third party with profit interest or being a commercial institution. The classroom license model is client-server based. Only a designated number of users may use the product concurrently. Each purchase of the prodcut will allow registration of one Host ID License. If the Host ID License is to be transferred or used by person(s) other than the purchaser, consent from AnCAD, Inc. must be received.

As to offer a cross-system/cross-platform environment, the machines on client sites can be a mix of Fortran or C++ compilers under Windows or Linux systems. MATFOR classroom license comes in packs of 10, 25, 50 and 100.

Runtime License
The Runtime License enables MATFOR users to run MATFOR applications on more than one computers. This license may only be acquired after the Runtime License Request Form is submitted, and it is not available for trial users.
