About AnCAD
 
Since our establishment in Taiwan in 1999, AnCAD has been devoted to the field of scientific computation. With an initial emphasis on developing software related to scientific computing, AnCAD embraces a powerful team consisting of 55% Ph.D., 18% Master and 27% Bachelor proficient in numerical analysis, software engineering and computer graphics. Scientific-computing applicable subjects such as matrix-based operation, visualization library, mesh generator, translator, and gateway are all among AnCAD's innovative aspirations.

As these software in the scientific computing industry emulate with the rapid evolution of technology, they can be properly applied to the most advanced engineering and scientific researches, including high frequency interconnect analysis, molecular dynamics, IC design simulation, electromagnetic analysis, heat transfer modeling, and computational fluid dynamics.

With anticipation and determination, AnCAD aims to cultivate the best scientific development tool set and further foster a parallel computing, cross-platform programming environment. In addition, AnCAD, to serve users, develops elaborative applications for the fields of bioinformatics, micro-electro mechanical system, financial engineering, etc. In the perceivable future, AnCAD is at the expectation of becoming the leading corporation in the worldwide integrated scientific-computing domain.

February 1999 Established in Chung-Ho City.

November 2000 Developed MATFOR, a powerful scientific computing toolkit.

April 2001 Moved to Yung-Ho City.

November 2001 First release of MATFOR.

April 2002 Received Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Award from Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan.

May 2002 MATFOR v2.0 released and marketed.

June 2002 Became Intel’s sole software distributor in Taiwan.

November 2002 Received Taiwan Incorporation Competition (TIC) Award.

February 2003 Received Conventional Industry Technology Development  (CITD) Award from Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan.

April 2003 Received Small Business Innovation Research II (SBIR II) Award from Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan.
Became the exclusive distributor of TGS in Taiwan.

September 2003 MATFOR v3.0 released and marketed.

November 2003 Invited to the Intel EAP Summit, Dubai, UAE.

December 2003 Cooperated with Intel and HP to implement iThinker 64 Project.
Arranged iThinker64
Event.

April 2004 Became a partner of Lahey, Inc.
Port
ed MATFOR into Lahey Fortran Compiler.
Carried out global bundle-selling with Lahey Fortran Compiler.

September 2004 Became a partner of Absoft, Inc.

ed MATFOR into Absoft ProFortran Compiler.
Carried out global bundle-selling with Absoft ProFortran Compiler..
January 2005

Built up the distributorship with Woorimtech, LLC. and XLsoft KK. Expended MATFOR international channel network to Korea and Japan.

February 2005 MATFOR v3.2 released and marketed.
March 2005

Built up the distributorship with Aertia Software, KUNN Solutions, and Comex Software Solutions. Expended MATFOR international channel network to Spain/Portugal, Pakistan and India.

May 2005

Ported MATFOR into Absoft Fortran Compiler and Lahey Fortran Compiler for Linux version.

Carried out global bundle-selling with Absoft/Lahey Fortran Compilers for Linux.
